Amanda May Wright is a graduate of Burlington College, Burlington Vermont, and of Trebas Institute, Toronto Ontario, with degrees in Art, Culture and Community, and non-linear digital video post-production. A practicing artist all her life, Amanda enjoys working with fiber, with many varieties of paint, with soft and hard sculpture, and in graphics - from papermaking and pen and ink to web site design and digital editing.
Amanda currently lives in Burlington, where she works professionally in arts administration, and does freelance web and graphic design in the evenings. She has recently acquired a loom and a letterpress and is excited to begin experimenting with these new mediums in addition to continuing production of a line of needlefelted dolls and a series of paperdolls (all available in the shop!). She also tries to find time to paint, draw, sew, and umm, sleep.
